Entertaining Notes
Costumes, candy and celebrating… Halloween has become as much of an adult time to party as it is a child’s time to party. It is time to bob for apples, roast marshmallows and hot dogs. There is a chill in the air that makes us all reach for a cup with cider or a hot toddy. Turn on the crock pot and warm up to an exciting Fall of Entertaining.
A great and easy party idea: Have a soup it up party - Invite your friends over and have each one bring their favorite soup, chili or chowder. As the host you make a fall salad complete with grilled pear slices, crumbled blue cheese and drizzle with aged balsamic vinaigrette. Add homemade crackers, garlic bread and cornbread muffins. Dessert can be as simple a bread pudding or your favorite brownies.
Entertaining needs to be stress free, fun, easy and economical.
