CHRISTMAS GIFT…

Immediately after Thanksgiving my Mother would look around and say “Christmas Gift” and smile in a devilish manner. I never understood until now what those words meant to her and to our family. It always seemed to relieve the stress of the season. It was the unknown of what she really meant and I guess I finally know.

Let me take a minute to explain – “Christmas Gift” was her way of saying – STOP, BREATHE, SMILE, LAUGH and LOVE….the time we spent together will always be the most important “Christmas Gift” we could ever give to each other. As we all enter into this Holiday Season with the economy being the largest concern to all of us take a moment and say the words – “Christmas Gift” to everyone you see and at first they will think you a little off, but follow that with a smile, a hug, or an invitation to spend some time together. The saying that time is money is true, but the gift of time is priceless.

My Christmas Gift to each of you is my passion for good food, good fun and good friends. Your Christmas Gift to me and my staff is to share our excitement for the New Year with kindness, hope and love.
